I have decided to start a blog to share my experience working in Lima, Peru in a rehabilitation center for children with neurological disorders. The reason I wanted to share this experience is because of the different approach to therapy compared to what we might see in Canada. Please feel free to respond with comments and thoughts as I am interested to know what other's may take from this.

- I am a recent graduate of Capilano University's Rehabilitation Assistant Diploma Program and after completing an internship at a center for children with neurological disorders, in Lima, Peru, I have begun working at two other centers for children with disabilities. My passion is to help others be healthy and improve their quality of life. I enjoy pursuing this passion through my work and life experiences. I also have a degree in Recreation and Health Education and health and fitness is my background prior to rehabilitation.
